Burglary and Sexual Assault – Arrested and Charged

On Christmas Eve morning, a Precinct 6 deputy was dispatched to a suspicious person call in Precinct 6 in regards to a male banging on a door and impersonating an officer.
Deputies arrived on scene and were told by one of the victims that the suspect had just kicked down the door to their house and robbed them. Deputies arrived at the residence and found the suspect attempting to leave the property. The suspect was detained while deputies conducted further investigation.
After speaking with the victims, deputies discovered that the suspect had been knocking on doors with a loaded weapon and flashlight, claiming to work for the DEA. While inside one of the residences, the suspect demanded drugs and money. The suspect also sexually assaulted a female victim inside the house. Deputies were able to recover the weapon inside the house where the assault took place.
The Assistant District Attorney accepted charges on the suspect for 1st Degree Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit Another Felony and for 1st Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault. The suspect was taken to Harris County jail where he was processed and booked.
