Deputies conducted a traffic stop and could smell Marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The driver was also unable to provide proper identification.
Upon further investigation, deputies found a loaded handgun (which was discovered to be stolen) and a backpack containing over $16,000 in counterfeit money inside the vehicle.
Deputies contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges of Felon in Possession of a Weapon and Possession of Counterfeit Money were accepted.
