At approximately 4:17 pm, Deputy Macias was dispatched to a suspicious person call on Avenue L in regards to a woman attempting to open a door to an abandoned apartment.
Upon arrival, Deputy Macias saw a male trying to climb through a window of the apartment. Deputy Macias noticed the apartment window was broken and a female was inside. Both suspects were detained and the property owner was contacted. The property owner stated that the apartment was vacant and that she wasn’t renting to either of the two suspects.
Inside the apartment, Deputy Macias saw a backpack that the female claimed as hers. Five baggies of Heroin and five rocks of Crack Cocaine were found inside of the backpack.
The male suspect was searched and found to be in possession of Hydrocodone pills.
The Assistant District Attorney accepted the following charges:
-Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver on the female suspect
-Criminal Trespassing and Possession of a Controlled Substance on the male suspect.
The suspects were transported and booked into Harris County Jail.
