Arrested and Charged (Narcotics and Firearms)
At approximately 11:41 p.m., Deputy Hicks noticed a vehicle missing it’s front license plate driving erratically near Ave V. and N. Wayside Street. Deputy Hicks conducted a traffic stop and could smell Marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The driver was unable to provide his Driver’s License or proof of insurance.
Deputy Hicks searched the driver and found a pill bottle containing Adderall. The driver and passenger were both detained while further investigation was conducted. Deputy Hicks noticed a backpack in plain view with a gun magazine sticking out of the side pouch. Deputy Hicks searched the vehicle and found the following inside:
-AK47 with two magazines
-MAC12 Pistol with one magazine
-Winchester 12 gauge Shotgun
-Over 4 pounds of Marijuana
-51 grams of Xanax
-26.4 grams of Ecstasy
-3 packages of Marijuana gummy bears
-26 Adderall pills
-20.9 grams of Hashish
-6 purple pills
-20.2 gram of Hydrocodone pills
-26 Alaz36 pills
The Assistant District Attorney accepted charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver on the driver. The charge was given an enhancement due to the loaded weapons in the vehicle.
