At approximately 12:32 a.m., Deputy Hernandez spotted a suspicious vehicle with a missing front plate and four occupants. After further investigation, one male suspect was detained and determined to have an open warrant. The suspect was found to be in possession of a 9mm firearm, crack cocaine (2.24g), 14 xanax bars, and marijuana (4.11g). A .22 caliber firearm was also located in the vehicle.Charges were filed for Unlawful Carry of a Weapon and Possession of a Controlled substance. At approximately 6:30 p.m., Detective Acuna was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle call that was found blocking a public roadway near 6599 Myrtle St, with the suspect asleep behind the wheel. Upon coming in contact with the driver, the detective sensed a strong odor of alcohol emitting from the suspect's breath. A field sobriety test was conducted in which the suspect showed signs of intoxication.
