Five Charged with Felony Burglary of Senior Citizens’ Home⚠️ Crime Report | 📆 March 30 | 🌎 GolfcrestDeputy Vollenweider was dispatched to Lakehurst Dr. regarding a burglary of a habitation call. Upon arrival, deputies located six suspects at the residence. Investigation revealed that some of the suspects were sleeping there and removing items from the home.The owner of the residence was not home during the incident, as they currently reside at a nursing home.Four males and one female were charged with Felony Burglary of a Building. One female was charged with trespassing. One of the male suspects had two open warrants and one female had an open warrant. Yesterday my staff and I attended State Representative Ana Hernandez's 17th Annual Senior Valentine’s Day Dance. We had a great time handing out treats and dancing with over 300 of our Seniors in attendance. My Babe even joined me on the dance floor for a couple of songs!Later, we visited the JW Peavy Seniors, Kashmere Seniors, and members of Kingdom Builders Cathedral Church at their Valentine's Day Luncheon held at the Fifth Ward Multi-Service Center.
