Deputy J. Garcia conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle run a red light at Quitman St. and Hardy St. During the stop, two firearms were observed in plain view on the dashboard, and the odor of marijuana was detected coming from the vehicle. A search revealed approximately 3.6 grams of marijuana and two firearms, both of which were confirmed not stolen.Both suspects, Issac Pedraza and Leo Hernandez were charged with Unlawful Carry of a Weapon and transported to Harris County Jail for booking. Deputy Gilliam responded to a disturbance involving a weapon at a gas station near the 3200 block of Telephone Rd. The incident began as an argument inside the business and escalated when a suspect retrieved a firearm from a nearby vehicle and made threats toward store employees. Deputies quickly located the suspects nearby, conducted a felony stop, and safely detained them without incident. Two firearms were recovered from the vehicle, one of which was found to be illegal.Suspect Kaicie Johnson was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Kylyn Moore was charged with Possession of an Illegal Firearm. Deputy Cruz was dispatched to a disturbance call for service near 7525 E Freeway. A suspect was observed unconscious in the driver's seat of the vehicle with the ignition on. Upon coming in contact, Deputies sensed a strong odor of alcohol emitting from the suspect's breath. During the investigation, deputies found 2 plastic baggies in the suspect's pocket. One baggie contained approximately 11.4 grams of marijuana, and another baggie contained approximately 11.6 grams of multi-colored pills known to be ecstasy. In a vehicle search, deputies found 53 baggies containing a total of approximately 44.1 grams of marijuana and one baggie of approximately 2.6 grams of crack cocaine. The suspect provided 2 breath samples which resulted in breath alcohol concentrations of 0.229 and 0.219Suspect Reginald Dewayne Gardner was charged with a DWI Misdemeanor, Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession with Intent to Deliver.
