Deputy Vollenweider responded to a shoplifting call at 6828 Harrisburg Blvd. The shoplifting suspect was located, detained, and found to be in possession of stolen goods from multiple businesses in the area. The suspect also had Xanax pills and marijuana in his possession. While being transported, the suspect broke a camera system in the patrol vehicle and threatened a deputy.Charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Theft, Criminal Mischief, and Retaliation Toward a Public Servant were filed and he was booked into Harris County Jail.
