Deputy Arrests Driver With 4 Open Warrants

⚠️ Crime Report | 4-28-2025 📆 | 🌎 Golfview ManorAt approximately 8:05 PM, Deputy Vollenweider responded to a call for service near 6399 Mayfair St. The deputy responded to a location where several vehicles were parked in the roadway and revving their engines. As the deputy approached, the vehicles quickly parked. A vehicle matching the description of a speeding vehicle was found parked in the middle of the road. Further investigation of driver revealed the suspect had four open traffic warrants out of Harris County Constable Precinct 6. At approximately 7:28 p.m., Deputy Vollenweider responded to a suspicious person call at a residential property on Lidstone St.The complainant flagged the deputy down and stated that the suspect pointed a gun at him and demanded money. While being detained, the suspect attempted to run away and fight Deputy Vollenweider, causing injuries to the deputy. The suspect was detained and found to be in possession of a loaded firearm. Charges for Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Resisting Arrest, and Assault on a Peace Officer were filed. Upon arrival, Deputy Vollenweider spoke to the father of Suspect #1, who stated his son became aggressive after he confronted him for bringing people into his home. At approximately 8:42 PM, Deputy Acuna initiated a traffic stop near 6815 Navigation Blvd. During the investigation, Suspect #1 consented to search of their vehicle and Deputy Acuna identified a baggie containing a white powdery substance known to be cocaine. Deputy identified Suspect #2 to have to have a warrant out of Harris County Sheriff's Office for DWI.
