โš ๏ธ Crime Report | ๐Ÿ“† June 19, 2022 | ๐ŸŒŽ Allen Pkwy. HousingAt approximately 10:18 p.m., Deputy Alvarado responded to a call in regards to a person damaging a wall of a residence. During their investigation, deputies discovered that the unit next to the victim's unit was supposed to be vacant. Deputy Saldana knocked on the residence and could hear somebody inside but they refused to open the door. Deputies gained entry to the unit and discovered a male suspect hiding inside. The suspect was detained and found to have an open warrant for Criminal Trespassing. Inside the unit, deputies discovered several holes in the walls and other physical damage to the residence. Deputies reviewed the footage of the suspects and the complainant helped deputies locate the suspects at the corner of S. Wayside Dr. and I-45. The suspects, a male and a female, were both detained and identified. The District Attorneyโ€™s Office accepted charges on both suspects for Burglary of a Coin Operated Machine. Deputy Macias initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and spoke to the driver, who gave consent for the vehicle to be searched. At approximately 7:40 p.m., Deputy Macias was patrolling when he observed a vehicle with a temporary tag that didnโ€™t match the vehicle on which it was displayed. Deputy Macias initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and spoke to the driver, who gave consent for the vehicle to be searched. Deputies detained the suspects while conducting their investigation.

Deputies located a black handgun in plain view without a holster in the back seat of the vehicle, where a 20-year-old suspect was sitting.

The District Attorneyโ€™s Office accepted a charge for Tampering With a Government Document on one suspect and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon on the second suspect. Both suspects were transported and booked into Harris County JPC.

Three Charged After Deputies Catch Suspect Sawing Catalytic Converterโš ๏ธ Crime Report | ๐Ÿ“† May 21, 2022 | ๐ŸŒŽ East DowntownAt approximately 8:00 p.m., Deputy Montemayor was dispatched to a call near the 1400 block of Emancipation Ave.Upon arrival, Deputy Montemayor observed a suspect crawling out from underneath a vehicle. A second suspect was observed throwing an object over a fence.Additional deputies assisted at the scene and a total of three suspects were detained (two females and one male). Deputies located an electric saw and noted that the catalytic converter of the vehicle the suspect was underneath had almost been entirely cut through.The District Attorneyโ€™s Office accepted charges for Organized Crime on all three suspects. One female suspect also received a Criminal Mischief charge and the male suspect had an open warrant.
