The complainant stated the suspect pushed her to a wall and strangled her, impeding the complainant's breathing. The complainant also stated that the suspect grabbed a bat to use it to hit them. Cesar Chavez for a kidnapping of a 14 year old victim. The individuals identified themselves as the parents of the victim and advised that a suspect male, Ruben Elijah Rodriguez, age 23, drove off with their daughter. Once a plate number was identified, Deputy J. Garcia assisted in tracking down the vehicle and keeping units updated. The suspect dropped off the victim near 2805 Navigation Blvd and proceeded driving north. The victim reported that the suspect threatened to shoot her father if he approached the car. Deputies traced the license plate to an address in Precinct 4. Precinct 4 was alerted to be on the lookout for the vehicle matching the description.
