The suspect was located with the materials and detained. A felony charge of Burglary of a Building was filed and the suspect was transported to Harris County Jail for booking. The suspect also had an open warrant for his arrest.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., Sergeant Lopez was dispatched to a shoplifting call at Gulfgate Center Mall. Sergeant Lopez located the male shoplifting suspect, who was carrying a bucket full of circuit breakers valued at over $1,200. 

The suspect was detained and charges were filed for Theft Class A on the suspect. Deputies transported the suspect to Harris County Jail for booking. 

The stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to the home improvement store.

Suspect Charged After Using Box Cutter to Attack Friend Who Refused to Buy Beers

Sergeant Reed was flagged down near the 800 block of Medina St. by a male who had been cut by a male suspect with a box cutter.

According to the victim, who was friends with the suspect, the suspect became angry when the victim refused to buy beers. This led to a fight, during which the suspect grabbed a box cutter and sliced the victim’s leg.

The suspect was detained and charges for Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon were filed. The suspect was transported to Harris County Jail for booking.

At approximately 9:38 PM, Deputy Vollenweider responded to a shoplifting call near 220 Wayside Dr, where two suspects stole nearly $1,500 worth of cologne and perfume. Suspect #1 attempted to evade on a bike but was eventually caught. 

Suspect #1 was charged for State Jail Felony Theft and a Class A Misdemeanor For Evading In a Vehicle.
Suspect #2 was charged with a Class A Misdemeanor For Theft. 

Both suspects were taken into custody and transported to Harris County Jail for booking.

Twin Felon Tries Identity Swapping To Dodge Warrant During Traffic Stop

Deputy Vivar initiated a traffic stop on a suspect driving 90 mph on a 65 mph interstate. Upon making contact with the driver, they identified themselves with a Texas Driver License and the passenger identified themselves verbally. After further investigation, the suspect admitted to having a warrant and using his twin brothers’ Texas Drivers License to identify himself.

Suspect was charged for Failure to ID As A Felon and transported to Harris County Jail for booking.
