At approximately 8:54 p.m., Sergeant Garcia observed a vehicle near 2000 Brackenridge St. parked in the middle of a roadway, impeding traffic. Sergeant Garcia spoke with the occupant of the vehicle and the passenger was identified as Travis White. During their investigation, deputies found the suspect to be in possession of marijuana and located a firearm that was reported stolen under the passenger seat.The suspect is a convicted felon and prohibited from legally possessing a firearm. At approximately 3:22 p.m., Deputy Espinosa was patrolling with Sergeant Garcia when he observed a person loitering at a business near the 3300 block of Telephone Rd.Deputies noticed a crack pipe next to the suspect and detained the suspect while they conducted further investigation.Deputies discovered crack cocaine, Xanax pills, and marijuana in the suspect’s purse. Sergeant Garcia was patrolling near the 4100 block of Telephone Rd. when he initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling with no front license plate. During the traffic stop, Sergeant Garcia observed a bag appearing to be crystal meth in the back seat of the vehicle.Deputy Cruz assisted at the scene and detained the suspect. The crystal meth was weighed at 29 grams and charges were filed with the District Attorney’s Office for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
