At approximately 6:30 p.m., Sergeant Lopez was dispatched to a shoplifting call at Gulfgate Center Mall. Sergeant Lopez located the male shoplifting suspect, who was carrying a bucket full of circuit breakers valued at over $1,200. The suspect was detained and charges were filed for Theft Class A on the suspect. Deputies transported the suspect to Harris County Jail for booking. Upon making contact with the driver, they identified themselves with a Texas Driver License and the passenger identified themselves verbally.
