Suspect Caught With Metals from Railyard Gets Express Ride to Jail πŸš‚

At approximately 5:12 p.m., Deputy Vollenweider was dispatched to a welfare check on two people asleep in a truck. Deputy Vollenweider noticed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and detained the male and female.

During further investigation, deputies discovered copper and aluminum in the bed of the truck along with wire cutters. The metals were found to be cut and taken from a local railyard. 

The District Attorney’s Office accepted a charge for Felony Theft of metals on the male suspect and he was transported to Harris County Jail for booking.Image attachmentImage attachment

At approximately 11:26 AM Deputy Garza initiated a traffic stop near 2391 S. Wayside Dr. Upon further investigation, Suspect was confirmed to have 5 open warrants for their arrest.

 Suspect was put under arrest and transported to Harris County Jail.

Around 6:50 AM, Deputy Garza was dispatched to a Burglary of Business Call for service near 1220 Shotwell. Stolen items and damage to property totaled up to approximately $12,400 of total loss.

During field investigation, Deputy Garza found a parked vehicle that matched the reportee’s description. Deputy Garza identified a suspect that matched a still image from security footage, hiding behind the back of another building. In addition, a stolen item identified by reportee was found in the back seat of the vehicle. 

Suspect was charged with Burglary of a Business and was transported to Harris County Jail for booking.

Suspect Charged With Theft After Exiting Store Without Attempt To Pay

Deputy Zee was dispatched to a theft in progress call at Gulfgate Mall. The suspect had concealed stolen items and exited the store without attempting to pay for the following: 2 frozen shrimps, 2 crab cakes, and 2 crab boil packs, 2 oxtails, and 2 sirloin steaks, totaling an estimated value of $180.97. All items were recovered.

Suspect was charged with Theft and transported to Harris County Jail for booking.

I be telling the person last time to put the people that work there they need all 3 door to have someone and strat showing the receipt like all other store . I seen it with my own eye most the time it the seafood and the meat they walk out the back entrance cause sometimes there no worker to watch that door .

At approximately 11 p.m., Deputy Vollenweider responded to a minor car accident near 4699 Harrisburg Blvd. Upon contact, deputy noticed signs of intoxication and discovered a firearm on the floorboard of the vehicle. Additionally, Deputy Vollenweider found approximately 199 grams of marijuana and a container holding a crystal-like substance. Further investigation revealed that the suspect had three open warrants.

Charges were filed for DWI, Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent To Deliver, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Suspect was transported to Harris County Jail for booking.
