Did you know Texas consistently ranks among the states with the highest reported cases of human trafficking? Raising awareness is a critical step in prevention. We’re wearing blue in support of the #WearBlueDay campaign to stand against human trafficking and support victims.

Common indicators that a person may be a victim of human trafficking include:• Frequent runaway behavior: A friend, family member, or student who frequently runs away and may be staying with someone who is not their parent or legal guardian.• Suspicious job recruitment: A family member, friend, or co-worker is recruited for an opportunity that requires them to move far away, but the recruiter or prospective employer avoids questions or provides limited details about the job.• Sudden gifts or controlling relationships: A friend, family member, co-worker, or student is suddenly showered with gifts or money, or becomes involved in a fast-moving, imbalanced romantic relationship (such as a large age or financial difference).• “Too good to be true” offers: A family member, friend, or co-worker is offered a job opportunity that seems unrealistic or too good to be true.If you or someone you know may be a victim of human trafficking, help is available.📞 National Human Trafficking Hotline: 1-888-373-7888 ...
