Today, we celebrate the city that so many of us call HOME. 713 Day is Houston's way of paying homage to the original Houston area code, which was established in 1947. As our city and phone use continued to grow, 281 was added in 1996, followed by 832 in 1999 and 346 in 2014. This year, a new area code went into effect for Houston: 621.From the original 713 to 281, 832, 346, and even the brand new 621, we’re all part of one incredible community. 🚀🤘🏽🤠
