IGNITE “Young Women Run” Conference Series

I am honored to be participating in the IGNITE “Young Women Run” conference series at East Early College High School this weekend. While women make up a majority of the population (51%), they continue to be underrepresented in political leadership. New perspectives are needed in politics, and this can only happen with gender parity in…

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day 2018

On April 28th, we will be proudly hosting National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at 5900 Canal St. from 10 am – 2 pm.
It is common for our medicine cabinets to fill up with unused or expired medicine and throwing away prescription drugs in the trash is not only dangerous for others but is also harmful to our environment. This event is a great way to dispose of medications in a safe way.

Precinct 6 Chili Cook-Off

oday, Precinct 6 had it’s first annual Chili or “Chile” Cook-Off!

Competition was fierce and there was a lot of heat between all of the teams but not as much heat as there was in the Chili. As you can tell, we all love a little friendly competition around the office.

We had a total of 9 different teams competing for 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, and the “Spiciest Chili” awards.
